Good Luck Toddie!!

My baby bro Todd is leaving tomorrow to the MTC to start his two year journey in the service of the Lord. I can't believe that it is finally here. It never seemed like it would come and now all I can say is Good Luck Toddie! Thank you for being an example to me and for being the only one who would tickle my arm. We will miss you so much, but you will always be in our thoughts and prayers. We are so proud of you and the decisions that you have made. Thanks for always being willing to help me when I needed ya and I know you will be a great missionary! Good Luck learning your language, for me I think that would be the hardest part. Just remember Miah and Mazie love you and Kayleb and I do too!! Work hard and WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

My Babies Are Growing!!!

My sweet baby girls are a few months shy of being a year old. I can't hardly believe it! The time has just flew by! They are so much fun talking and trying to walk. Mazie would walk all day if somebody would take her. She is getting more brave everyday. I have been lucky that they are not fast crawling everywhere. They can get around, but it takes them a while to get there so I can keep up for now. They get more and more personality as the days go by. Miah is such a ham. She can just laugh, yell, and cheese it all at the right moment. She always starts laughing whenever anyone else does. She cracks me up. Mazie is always the nervous and shy one. She can say many words it is just getting her to say it to anyone else but me. I never imagined having so much fun just being a mom to the most precious girls. They are my heart and we have so much fun together! Cute Little Stinkers!!

I got a jogging stroller so I don't have to run on the treadmill or get a babysitter if I want to go run. It has been great! We use it everyday and we all love it! The girls just love to be outside and love stroller rides. Many of my neighbors can hear us coming down the road because the girls are usually talking. Hopefully I can shed some unwanted pounds and be able to last the whole time in my soccer games. My first game I was pretty rusty and very out of shape. Hopefully my team will be surprised this Saturday when I can last a little longer because it is so much fun to get out and play again. I love the sport and have missed it! I have played here and there, but nothing that was organized and it was tons of fun!

Pool Time!

The girls and their cousin Ryder had a great afternoon just chillin in the pool. It was a sunny hot afternoon and we just decided to go swimming. Miah was not so sure about it at first, but after she sat on the towel for a while we tryed again and just as long as she didn't get splashed too much she was okay. Mazie loved it and was playing the whole time. Ryder was in and out running through the sprinkler and back to the pool so there was a lot of grass in the pool. Mazie loved to try and catch the floating grass and eat it. It was lots of fun to have Ryder over to swim with us and hopefully give his mom a break for a minute. Ryder gave away that his mom was expecting by saying they were going to have a baby sister. Even though we already knew, that just confirmed my suspicion. Congrats I am so excited for a new baby in the family and that it is not me!!!

Sunny St. George or wait.....sunny?

We made the long trek down to supposedly sunny St. George and found that it wasn't what we had planned for. It was cold and windy and we did not see the sun hardly at all. We wanted to go swimming and we did as soon as we got down there, but that was the first and only time the entire trip. What a disappointment! I needed some color on my pastie white face and I think I came back even whiter than before! Well the whole trip wasn't all a bust we got some good shopping in and we ate out at some great places and we got to just hang with the girls. All the boys were either working or gone turkey hunting. Thanks for all the help with the girls everyone. Jenny and Jeano helped me pack them around and feed them which was a great help. Ryder helped entertain them and Kellie and Kenzie were always willing to pack them around for me. It was nice to always have some help! Well here are some pics of the trip.

Just happy to be out of their car seats at last!

Here they are playing on the bed again!

Back in the car seats! FUN!

Oh, here they are on the bed playing again! Such variety in the pictures! I love the girls crazy morning hair though! I didn't take any pictures of shopping or swimming I was so lame. By the way this week St. George is in the 80's...typical Carlton luck!

Easter Dresses

My little beauties looked pretty spiffy before church on a gorgeous Easter Sunday morning. I never thought I would like to dress my girls up, but it was so fun and they are so stink'in cute! Miah Jean

They werent' so sure about their Easter baskets. We went to Great Grandma Carlton's for Easter dinner and it was great! Thanks for the great dinner Grandma! I am so grateful for such good family all around me! I am also grateful for what we celebrate on Easter. The resurrection of my Savior! I love my Savior Jesus Christ so much and know that he lives and loves all of us and if we let him in our lives he will bless us again and again! I would not be able to go a day without Him! I know he is there watching out for me always!
Happy Easter!

Happy Birthday Kayleb!

Well Sunday was Kayleb's birthday! Happy Birthday to the best husband and friend a girl could ask for! We had the party on Saturday earlier in the day then he went to dinner and the Jazz game with some work people. The girls and I just have to say what a great dad he is! We love him so much and look forward to time spent with him. We are so lucky to have him! Happy Birthday Daddy! These are some pics from the party. I won't tell you how old he is but by the looks of that fire you can tell he is getting pretty old! Love Ya Kayleb! I know Grandpa Great said not to put this picture on the blog, so I hope he isn't mad. I think it is a great one. Mazie was kind of being a stinker (she was getting tired from all the fun), but we love you Grandpa!

Just Living

It has been a while I know so I decided to put up some new pics and let you in on what has been going on in our world lately. To tell the truth not a whole lot of anything. The girls are 8 months old now and I can't hardly believe it. No they are not crawling. At first I was worried that we were behind or something, but I have decided to stop worrying and count my blessings that I am not chasing two little monsters around and keeping them away from the stairs and everything else! The girls are getting so heavy to lift around in their car seats, but it is the easiest way to carry them. Kayleb's job is going pretty good, depending on the day and I have just been trying to loose a few pounds trying to get back into running. Thank goodness for Jenny in helping me get motivated and volunteering to run a 5k with me coming up in April. Hopefully I am ready by then. I am itching for warm weather like crazy! I am so excited to be going for a trip down south with the girls for a few days. Even though we have to take the kids it will still be a great getaway! The guys are going turkey hunting so the ladies decided we needed a trip. The Carlton family has been busy with Jeano's birthday, being called as Relief Society Pres. for Jeano, Todd waiting for his call to come, Lane snapping his achilles tendon, and of course March Madness. Never a dull moment oh yeah and Lance going on a cruise to Mexico and getting ready to move for the summer to Washington state. This summer will be interesting with both of my little brothers leaving. Todd's call should be coming soon. Maybe next week and I am so excited and proud of him. He is a great brother. Lance is trying to make some money so he will be working in Washington and I will miss him too! Crazy summer! Can't wait for warm weather! Here is some pics from the last month.

Girls Rule! These are some hats that we got from Stan and his family. Stan works with Kayleb and I kept trying these hats on them and now they finally fit. Especially Miah who has a rather large head.

The Girls got a new ride and we tested it out when we went to the farm last week with Jenny and Ryder. It was fun and the girls had their first pony ride and loved it. There levis restricted them in straddling the pony but thankfully Jenny could walk with Miah and I walked with Mazie. Ryder did an awesome job riding all by himself and saying Yeehaa Cowboy! It was a fun outing.

Miah has been a stinker lately! She has been teething some more...I think?? I wish she could tell me exactly what has been bothering her and why she wakes up so much at night. We have tryed the teething tablets and they seem to work okay, but I just don't know what to do with her sometimes. Maybe she is just showing me she is a woman and is moody moody moody. Anyway this pic caught my favorite side of her. Miah and Mazie have kind of swapped roles now Miah is the stinker and Mazie is the sweet one. I swear as soon as you think you have it down they change it up so you don't get too comfortable.

Mazie has learned to wave and it is the cutest thing. She also is starting to say bye bye when she does it. Both Miah and Mazie said "DaDa" first despite my coaching to say mom, but Mazie started to say "bob bob" and then that turns in to mom. Hey I will take it! I would like to know who this Bob person is though. Anyway she is just a sweetheart and not to mention a great sleeper at night!

This is Miah and Mazie on the day they turned 8 months old. They are getting harder to get good photos of because if one is looking the other one isn't. This is rare one where they are both looking. I think each day there eyes get more blue. They have their dad's pretty blue eyes. Such cute little stinkers!

I forgot to post a 7 month old pic. It just happened to be on Valentine's Day. They where Dad's Sweethearts that day and always.
