Okay. I have been a big slacker lately so I will attempt to catch up. There is many pictures, but it is the best way to remember what has been going on at the Walters' residence.
First of all let me start off by introducing you to Buddy, the newest member of the Walters Fam. He is a mix between a lab/basset hound and a terrier/cocker spaniel. He is a pretty dense dog as most of them are, but he is fun. The girls were very afraid of dogs so I decided to solve that very early and add another handful for myself and get a dog. This is a pic of when we first got him. He is a lot bigger now and the girls love him. He at first liked to bite the girls, but now he has moved to jumping so he wears a shock collar now and he is a well behaved dog with that on. He really is a sweet puppy and he is, I have to admit very cute!
Next on the list is we got a swing set. After months of looking online on classifieds for a used one and looking in stores. We decided to get this one. It is very fun and the girls will have fun growing into it! Thanks Kayleb for giving us our own park in the backyard!!
We went to visit
Kayleb at his job and got a tour of the water treatment plant that he has been working on for the past two years. It was very impressive and I never knew it takes so much to treat water. We had a great visit. The girls loved being with their daddy!

It rained the whole time we were there and the girls loved puddle jumping and puddle dancing(
Mazie). I got some great video of them dancing and jumping in the water. As you can see they got pretty soaked!
Jeano, Jenny, Me, and all the kids rode the train up to the Gateway for a fun filled day of shopping. We were looking for a dress for
Jeano to wear to the upcoming wedding. Well we ended up going in about 3 stores. We forgot some vital kid stuff and needed a grocery store and there is no such thing is downtown
SL. So since we didn't have a car
Jeano had to ride
trax to a store and Jenny and I and the kids waited for her. We decided to go to lunch because the kids were getting hungry so we went up to the food court and of course there was a convention going on and we had to wait in line for an hour. Then
Jeano returned from her adventure only to get stuck with all the 4 of the kids while I went to help Jenny get the food. After we ate the kids wanted to go to the water fountain so we took them. They had fun.
Mazie led the way for
Miah and Ryder. She wasn't scared. Pretty soon she was soaked and it was time to leave. We hopped back on the train for a crowded long ride home with very tired kids. And that about sums it up leaving out a lot of details. It is a good story to tell we sure do have a lot of those unfortunately. Anyway the kids were great for the circumstances and they loved the train!

Having a snack waiting for Grandma Jean.

Elder Todd Carlton has officially hit the one year mark this month. We are so proud and grateful for his service and love him so much!
Miah loves to help say prayers at night and prays for Todd like she knows him. Always says "Miss You" in her prayers. One more year my brother!

I conned
Kayleb into taking us to the carnival in PG to let the girls ride on a few rides. They loved the train and the car ride. They seem so big when you are sitting outside the fence waving at them. I mean they are almost 2!!!WOW!!

Of course the Round-Up is in town and we went to my favorite parade, the horse parade! The girls loved waving to all the rodeo queens and loved the little baby horses and ponies. When the American flag was coming we were trying to teach them to put their hand over their heart.
Miah got it but
Mazie didn't quite get it.

They of course loved the idea of people throwing candy to them too.
Mazie was hording it, but later shared with her sister.
This is them waiting for the parade on the hottest day of the year!!!

Hair-cuts! They got a needed hair cut to even things up a bit.
Mazie was on the verge of tears, but managed to bare through it.
Miah thought is was cool. Thanks Aunt Jenny for cutting our hair!

The girls love to talk to Daddy on the phone. They look so big with it held up to their ear. I love these cute girls. Thanks to all the grandparents and cousins that take them off my hands when I am about ready to pull my hair out!!

I defeated one of my biggest fears. Making homemade bread. Yes I made these thanks to the help of an incredibly talented lady in my ward who showed me how. And yes it is whole wheat,no I didn't grind my own wheat that is the next project, yes it was edible, and a little on the heavy side, but delicious with some homemade strawberry jam!
WhaaHoo!

I don't have a picture, but my soccer team took the championship again for the third time. I scored a goal and it is so much fun playing. Thanks to Katie for letting me play on her team again. So all in all we have had a busy yet fun filled spring/summer so far and more round-up to come and the girls b-day is coming up. I can't believe they are going to be two! I have also this week taken away a sacred object from those almost two year
olds. Yes, that is right I took away the
BINKY!!! They were only using it for naps and bedtime for a long time. For some reason this week I just decided to take it away. There has been tears, but they sleep through the night and I couldn't ask for anything better! Big milestone for me almost more than them. I have been
attached to that plug too. So
farewell BINKY!
