A Wonderful December!

I can't believe that the holidays are already over and everything is back to the same old. I hate it when everyone goes back to work and it is all over. I have been thinking about this past year and sometimes wondering how I made it through and then knowing I did not do it on my own. Mine and Kayleb's families have helped us so much and I am very grateful for all the love and support they give. I know that 2009 was a good year for us and it was lots of fun watching my two girlies just grow up. A day doesn't go by without calling on my Savior Jesus Christ to help me in some way. I am grateful for the blessings prayer brings into my life! Miah and Mazie are now 18 months old and I can hardly believe it! They will start nursery this month and they have just grown up so much. They are still talking in some unknown language, but I am starting to pick out words and can understand some. Christmas was a very special one this year and the girls had so much fun. Hopefully I can recap the month for you it has gone by too fast! I am looking forward to a new year and the chance to start fresh on goals and hopefully better myself and my family this coming year! I hope all of you had a great holiday season and a Happy New Year.

The Christensen Family Party
The Christensen Family Christmas party was fun! The girls had so much fun running around being managed by all of their cousins that look after them so well! I don't know what this thing is that they are playing on, but it looks dangerous. Luckily nobody got hurt.
Miah had fun holding her cutie cousin Lyndsee. She loved giving her hugs and playing with her toys. What cute girls! Mazie was hanging out with the older cousins and having so much fun. She wanted to sit in Santa's chair and then all the cousins gathered around her like they were waiting for a picture. What a good looking group they are!
As soon as the mute Santa came in Miah freaked out!! I say mute because he was not very energetic and we could barely hear him and we didn't even get a "Ho Ho Ho". Anyway none the less Miah hated him. She didn't even want to look at him. It was pretty funny actually.

Mazie did very well I thought. She doesn't look too happy, but she didn't cry or anything. Such a big girl!
Miah had lots of fun after we put the tables up running around and playing.

The Greenwood Family Party

The Greenwood Family Christmas party was a blast. Dale and Sharon hosted all of us and we had yummy soups, great company, and what should be a new family tradition an indoor snowball fight that was so much fun. Sharon had made probably around a hundred or more felt snowballs and gave each of us a tin with six. Then the fight began. We probably hurled snowballs for about 10-15 minutes and nobody could stop laughing or throwing. It was awesome! When we finally calmed down which was hard to get us to do after that we exchanged gifts and all the kids got a toy laser gun that makes some really annoying sounds. Yes the girls have their first gun at 18 mon. Grandma Jeano gave them to all the kids and then the kids were sent away while we did our white elephant game. The whole party was great fun! Thanks Dale and Sharon!
Mazie being cute while me and Grandma Jeano where making soup for the party.

The Walters Family Party

Miah and Mazie were chosen to be angels in the Nativity this year at the Walters party. They were the wondering angels. They did look so cute in their get up. Miah didn't like it as much as Mazie did, but it was sure fun to watch.Sweet angel Mazie!

Sweet angel Miah throwing a fit. We thought that maybe some horns and a pitch fork might better suit her that night. Haha!

Christmas Eve Night

These little cuties are ready to go to bed in some new jammies and see if Santa comes!

Of course he did! They were so much fun. I was more excited than anyone I think and the morning was fun. They just couldn't understand why they had to leave their new toys and go visiting. They were so cute!

Once we got to Grandma and Grandpa Walters they got over it as soon as they opened these darling skirts. They both wanted them on.

All the girls got one so we tried to take a pic of all of them. This is as good as it gets. Such gorgeous girls! After all the excitement these two girls were worn out and needed a nap! Mazie claimed grandma's new chair and Miah was just ready for a nap. After some rest we went to Grandma and Grandpa Jeano's house where we got to talk to my brother Toddie who is on his mission. We got to see him via webcam and it was so good to see him. He is doing well and even though we only had a few minutes to talk to him it was such a blessing to see and hear him! We love you Toddie! The girls then got to open some presents from Grandpa and Grandma and Ryder. It was so fun to watch them ooo and aaahh about it all. My brother Lane was feeling the Christmas spirit with his reindeer headband. What a geek!
We can't forget little Jaxon G. Carlton born Dec. 22nd. He is such a cutie. I haven't got to hold him yet because I have had a cold and it is killing me. I will hold him soon! He was 7lbs 4oz I think and 19 inches long. He is a keeper as Grandma Greenwood would say.

SMILE!!

Last weekend we went to get a snapshot taken for our Christmas card this year and do you think anyone in my family could smile? The picture above was the best we could get. Kayleb wouldn't even smile. He always has this pain look on his face like he is being tortured. I don't ask much and apparently a smile for one picture a year is way too much. Then the girls are just like him. Couldn't squeeze even a non-pained look out of any of them. So we are just one big happy family wishing you a Merry Christmas this year! Just had to vent.

A Thankful November!

This past month has been crazy! I can't tell you what we have done really, but it feels like we have been super busy every day. Thanksgiving was great! We went to my Grandma's house and feasted on delicious eats then played a hilarious white elephant BINGO game and we got some winner gifts, laughed, and just had a fun time! My girls are getting so big and each day they surprise me with something else they can do or say. I think that they have a language between the two of them or something, but they talk all the time and look at me like I can understand. I keep telling them I speak English and not whatever they are speaking. My mom says that they speak Tagalog. Whatever it is hopefully someday it will turn into English! Mazie is climbing on everything and can get up on the couches and chairs all by herself and she has taught her sister to do the same so I have a couple of monkeys around here now that think they are invincible. AAAHHH! They wore their Christmas dresses for the first time last Sunday and if they aren't the cutest!! I am really excited for this Christmas with them being bigger and I think they will be so much fun! I got to go black Friday shopping the really early kind thanks to Lance coming over and sleeping here until the girls got up. Kayleb went four-wheeling with the boys so I had Lance come over to watch them. I left at 3:45am and got home at 8:30am. I came home to some little giggly girls that were having a blast with uncle Lance and then after we ate lunch we all napped for several hours and it was great! Then Grandma called us to go eat and that was the day. I had fun being able to go join the crazy crowds of people and get some good deals! This month has gone by so fast, but I haven't forgotten what I am thankful for and the list could go on and on. A few of them are my hard working, supportive, loving, and patient husband, my two beautiful daughters who make me smile everyday, and my Savior Jesus Christ who suffered so much for me and helps me get through each day! Here are some random pics of the last month. Hope you all had a great November!

These two are ready for the cold weather! I just think they look so cute in these silly hats!
Mazie was being so cute for pictures in her new Christmas dress. What a sweetheart!Oh yeah and here is her sister that wouldn't leave her bow in and was a stinker to get a picture of. None the less she is such a cute little stinker too! This is one of the best I have of just her.

Here is little Mazie just chill'in in the toy basket with Tigger having a relaxing moment.

Miah was giving the looks on Thanksgiving. She is such a cutie! No she doesn't really have a uni brow she tripped on some toys and landed face first on another one. She didn't ever drop the book she was reading while walking to catch herself though.

Cutest girlies EVER!

My big girls coloring at the table.

Messy, Messy, Messy! The entire box of tissues scattered and they were in the process of shredding them when I found them.

Happy Halloween!

I know that I am bias, but my girls were the cutest this year for Halloween!! We had a great time taking them to see family and watching them think it was so cool that they were getting treats just handed to them in their buckets. They loved it! Here is a few pics of Halloween night.
Miah looked so cute and she especially loved the licorice that we put in her bucket!
Mazie looked just as cute in her costume and loved the concept of candy in her bucket too!It was really quite impossible to get a picture of them standing still looking at the camera. Kayleb and I tried for 20minutes to get a good one and this is the best we got. They are still stink'in cute!!!Here they are at the first stop of the night waiting to say Trick or Treat! Actually they were just wondering what the heck was going on and why we were going to the front door at Grandma's house.
GO WILD! Here is the the wild threesome at Great Grandma's Halloween Party. Again this is the best photo we could get out of the three of them. All in all it was a great Halloween!

Halloween Party!

I know I am slow at posting. I have been having issues with my computer and camera. We had our annual Walters Halloween party a week before Halloween and it turned out great. We were not sure if we were going to be able to pull it off. A lot of the kids were sick that week and we didn't want to share our sicknesses with each other, but by Saturday everyone was feeling lots better and feeling the Halloween spirit. Oh, except for Angie who decided not to dress up this year. Party Pooper! Ha Ha! I just had to put that in there for her because I know how much she loves me posting the party pics on the blog!! Anyway we had lots of fun with a treasure hunt, costume contest, pinata, painting pumpkins, Halloween BINGO, and of course eating lots of food and lots of treats. Thanks everyone for a great party!

Two giraffes, one elephant, and one zoo keeper. I guess our zoo keeper isn't very humane he couldn't wait to get his whip from his parents house to finish off his costume. Don't let Kayleb fool you when he complains that we are having the Halloween party again. He got dressed all on his own with little direction. I know secretly he is excited to dress up. LOL!
Chad and Angie's family looked great! Raggedy Anne was sooo cute, Grandma Kayden played the part to the T, Scooby Doo(2nd runner up in the costume contest), and probably the most enthusiastic out of all was Chad the cowboy. A lot like his brother he was very excited to dress up and of course excited to have his cap gun props. Oh yeah and then there is Angie the non-participator.
Steve and Dee's family looked great as well!! Minnie Mouse never looked cuter, Prince Caspian with his awesome sword, cutest little lady bug ever, and the most creative costumes this year was the balloon boy and the CNN reporter reporting the very latest developments on the story. Great costumes Pantons!!
Rock star Chanile, Little Red Riding Hood, The Big Bad Wolf (who in fact came with his own theme music), the Best BYU fan Grandpa Great, and hmmm well it's Bud but what is he? Well whatever he is he looks great and won the costume contest this year!

Another favorite is always Aunt Joy Joy! The Sea Witch Ursula looked great and came in singing about what poor unfortunate souls we were! Joy Joy you were great!

Thanks everyone for the great Halloween party FUN!!!

September Favorites

I can't believe another month has gone by and it is starting to get cold, the leaves are turning, and I am not sure I am ready for all of that! We have done some fun things this month like visiting Kayleb on the job, deer camp(with the good news being NO DEER for us!), and my 1st garden was a success(thanks to my dad that helped me out!). I would have put canning as one of those activities, but I just don't think it is that much fun. I had mucho tomatoes and squash and cucumbers and it was hard to find people to share them with because everyone has a garden around here and there is only so much you can pone off on the few neighbors that don't. All in all it was a good experience and learning all the process of canning them and freezing some was good for me too. Thanks Mom for your help with the canning! Thanks also to Grandma Lorene for letting me call her with all of my questions too! I ended up with 17 jars. Plenty! Here is the before and after shots of the tomatoes. You can't help but feel satisfied that you did it.

Kayleb was glad that we came to see him. The girls love books and so Kayleb got his turn to read them over and over. One of Miah's favorites is Dr. Seuss's "The Foot Book".

I love this pic of Miah because it is such a cheezer grin. They love to think they are so big and sit on the couch by themselves. They make me nervous and of course they have fallen off a few times.

Deer Camp 2009!

Mazie was sitting on her Papa's lap in the truck while we waited for the mighty hunter to hike down to the truck after a morning of hunting. Mazie thought it was so cool to sit up front with Grandpa and play with all the buttons.
Miah loved being next to the window driving back to camp. She loves the breeze blowing on her. We had beautiful weather, just perfect. Both of the girls fell asleep on the way back to camp.
Miah and Mazie just love their cousins and especially when they were willing to pull them around in their wagon. Kayden, Cole, and Tyler took good care of them!

Here's my cute family laying around in bed reading some books before it was time to get up.
Kayden and Mazie are "partners" as Kayden would say. Kayden was the only person Mazie wanted to be with.
Uncle Chad was trying to make friends so he gave Miah some licorice. It worked till he ran out of it thank goodness! I guess what is camping without red sticky messes on your face with dirt to top it off.
This is one of my favorites. They were eating dinner watching Elmo of course and they are just so stink'in cute!

Beautiful scenery!
