Teething! What a Joy!

Well this past little while my girls have just been so whiny and come to find out they are teething. I have to say I am not a fan of this stage so far. Miah is the only one who has the teeth. She has two on the bottom. She doesn't like to show them and gets annoyed with me when I try to look. Mazie has no real sign of them yet, but I think they will be coming soon. Also this past week I have finally separated the girls and put them in separate cribs. I think I took it the hardest. I was sick of them clawing at each other and crying when they got gouged in the eye so I separated them. I did fine until I was on my way out of the room and looked back before I closed the door and then it hit me. So far they are sleeping pretty good and I don't have to break up any little cat fights. Anyway that is what has been happening around here. I hope you are all doing well! Here are some random pics. Just kick'in it with my sis!

If you look close you can spot the teeth. At least one of them.

Just a cute pic of Miss Mazie!

Miah's hair is long enough on top to have some pig tails. She looks so cute! I am not very good doing it, but I am getting better.

Cute Smile!

Break Through!

Miah rolled over today with no help! All the practice has paid off. She now can roll from her tummy to her back! Yeah!! Hear is some footage of both of them rolling over!

WOW! 6 Months!

I cannot believe my babies are growing up so fast! This time Mazie topped the scale at 6lbs. 3oz. and Miah came in a close second at 5lbs. 14oz. Mazie is 1/2inch taller but this is the first time she has been on top in the weight. I was not surprised because Miah doesn't finish her food like Mazie does. They are getting so much personality and it is so fun! Cute little stinkers!! These are just some pics taken in the past weeks of my two little beauties!

Look'in so cute in their Sunday best. This was at Grandma Greenwood's funeral and she would have loved her Gerrs all dressed up. Do I spot some kankles down there? Maybe it is just the tights.

Miah hasn't quite got the rolling over thing yet. She has a hard time with her arms and where they need to be. She is pretty funny because she gets so frustrated and just face plants in the blanket. I try to teach her but it hasn't helped yet. Hopefully she will get it soon.Mazie is the master at rolling over and doesn't stay on her tummy long. Such a cute smile! Look at those dimples!

This is a picture of the victim and the culprit. If you look close you will notice Mazie has two big scratches on her cheek from the innocent looking one to her left. I just may have to seperate them soon and it will break my heart to put them in seperate beds. Be Nice Girls! I am afraid this is only a glimpse of what is to come.

In Loving Memory

This week Grandma Joy has returned home. Even though she lived a good long life it is never easy to say goodbye. Grandma was not only there to spoil us grandkids, but she was a friend and a safe haven for me and I am sure many of my family. She always said,"this to shall pass" and I try to remember it will. I loved her so much and will always be grateful that I was able to spend so much time with her. All of the sleep overs, shopping trips, soccer games, birthdays, and sunday visits will be in my memory forever. You were always welcome in her home no matter what you were wearing, if you had mud on your shoes, or whatever the case may be. No matter how big of a mess you made she never cared she was just happy you were there. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles and alway supported family in all we did. I am grateful she was here to see Miah and Mazie born. Being a twin herself she was so excited and always said how much fun she had being a twin and how much fun they would have. I loved to hear her stories and loved talking to her about anything. She always understood. I love her and will miss her deeply. I Love You Grandma!
Christmas 2003. She always looked good in red!Grandma and Ryder
Grandma holding her girls. She always called them Her Gerrs.

Tazzie. What a good boy!

Taz, who was the family dog for 13 years has passed away. He was a good old boy and I have a lot of memories with him. He was old and it was time. He hated the winters and it is better that he is now in a warm place. I remember getting him as a puppy and being so excited to have a dog! He would always want to hold your hand when you were petting him. He was scarred of lightning and hot air balloons. Especially the AF Bank pig balloon. He always had lots of energy and loved to be right in the middle of everything. Good Boy!
Taz loved his swimming pool that mom would get him every summer to keep cool. He also loved to chew it to bits, but on those hot summer days he just layed in it to cool off.

Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Now that the New Year is almost here I am looking back on this special year of 2008. It is one of the best years and I will remember it forever. Last year at this time we were having ultrasounds and surprised everyone for Christmas that we were pregnant. This year we were blessed with two healthy and beautiful little girls. Our life has changed completely and it has been a great adventure! 2008 has been a great year for us and hopefully as we enter 2009 we can carry it over. It is the time to start new beginnings and to set goals for ourselves to make us better people. I hope I can say by the end of the year that I have learned many new things and have accomplished my goals and have become just a little bit better than before. I hope this new year brings many great things for all of us!
Happy New Year!
The girls were so fun on their first Christmas. They loved all the paper and were overloaded with all the happenings! It was fun to watch them throughout the day on Christmas. They were so tired that night from being carried from house to house. They hardly had any naps, but really did pretty good the whole day. This is what Santa brought them. They were looking at us like we were nuts when we tried to get them to be interested in it. They will be in a few weeks or so. We had fun anyway. Great Grandma just loves her little girls and we had a fun visit with her. Miah likes to eat the bows.
Mazie is just kick'in it in Grandma's chair. Good thing Grandma doesn't take up much room. Mazie was taking care of the wrapping while Grandma looked through her picture book.
Miah caught red handed eating the paper again!

Merry Christmas To All!

Well I hope you are all doing well this holiday season! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here! Another month has blown by and my sweet girls change and grow by the minute. I am so blessed to have such a great life! I have a wonderful husband that works really hard and doesn't mind being the slave on the weekends. He is a great help even with the dirty work. I have two beautiful and healthy girls that bring me joy beyond compare! And I have the gospel! I am very grateful this Christmas season for the birth of my Savior Jesus Christ and his life and ministry! I wish to all this joy that I have that comes from my knowledge of the Savior and all he has done for me in my life and the many times he has carried me through. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This is the girls at 5 months. I love these hats because they emphasize their Cheeks Cheeks Cheeks! Getting so big! Miah loves blowing bubbles especially in her squash or sweet potatoes. I guess if she is wearing it I might as well. Mazie loves her veggies and doesn't waste any. I gave them oatmeal instead of rice cereal and they loved it. I was scrapping the bowl for last bites while they were whining for more. I know that I have said this before but, Cute little stinkers!

4 Months/Cereal/On the Job

Well we haven't posted in a while, but we have been busy. The girls are 4 months old now and starting on cereal and soon on veggies and we went to see our dad out on the job. Miah weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. and Mazie weighs 12 lbs. 2 oz. They are the same height and everything was good at their checkup. They had to have more shots and it was so sad to see them hurt. The next day they were running a bit of a fever and they were very miserable. My mom and dad came over that night to rescue me. I was very grateful for their help. Miah is my little complainer and she complained all day long. Mazie bless her heart was a good girl all day, but you could tell that she just didn't feel well. I am glad they are doing better now. Cereal is quite an adventure! They are not sure about it. Miah's face was priceless when she was taking her first bites. I am not sure how much they swallowed, but we do know how much was all over their faces! It is an exciting step and it is fun to experience all of it as a mom. We decided to go see Kayleb at the job this week and the girls wore their CAT shirts that Lee gave them and they were the hit of the job. All the guys in the office loved them. Thanks Lee for the adorable shirts! We had a fun visit! I can't believe that Thanksgiving is next week! I love Thanksgiving and it is a great time to count my many blessings and be grateful for all that I have! I am most grateful for my little family and the opportunity and blessing of being a mom and a wife! Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!

Aren't these just the cutest girls you have ever seen! They are also great shoppers. Jeano and I took them to the Christmas Gift show at the Expo Center and they loved it. They were so good they just rode in their strollers and talked the whole time. They were troopers. We got ambushed by people that acted like they had never seen twins before. They were a hit!

Cereal Time! Yum Yum! They are getting to like it better now that they have had it a few times.

Here is a pic of the Catapillar shirts that all the guys at Kayleb's work were jealous of. They have the CAT logo on the back. They look so cute in them! Thanks Lee!

I love this smile!

I love this suprise look!

HALLOWEEN FUN!

Happy Halloween! Here we are with our big catch of the day! Cutest fish I've ever seen! Miah and Mazie were not really sure about the get-up we put them in. We had lots of fun at our Halloween Party with the Walters. We played games, ate good food, painted pumpkins, and decorated cupcakes. We all had a good time visiting and enjoying each others company! Thanks everyone for coming! We are looking forward to next year's party!
The Walters looked great with a couple of clowns, a scarecrow, a ninja, and of course a banana. Chad sure liked to dress up. We couldn't get him to take off that banana suit for anything. He called in advance to see if we were ready for him to run from the car to the house and not be seen. Kayden was a great ninja! Addie and Cole won runners up in the costume contest.

Kyle was a good sport as the tin man I loved it when he sang the song. Denice and Chanile looked great too!

The Panton's showed up all decked out in their great costumes! Tyler AKA Indiana Jones looked great and played his part to the tee. He had all the kids searching for treasure around the yard. Katlyn looks so cute in pink along side her trusty steed. And Steve....well for heavens sake cover up! Thanks for coming and joining in the fun guys!

3 Months Old!

3 months have flown by so fast I can hardly believe that Miah and Mazie have hit the 3 month mark. We are still trying to get a solid routine down, but we get better everyday. These are some pics that I took throughout the day. Grandpa Great came over to show his trailer and we were lucky to get to spend some time with him. The girls liked hanging out on Grandpa's lap. Thanks for coming over Grandpa We Love You!

My two beautiful girls are 3 months old and I can hardly believe it! They are starting to laugh and smile a lot. They know who I am and I love that! Being a mom is better than I could have ever imagined.

I just love to put them in these seats, it cracks me up to see them sit up like this. They tolerate it for a minute then they get mad and want out.

These are the jammies we brought them home in from the hospital. They were so big on them then, but not anymore! My little girls are growing up!
