It's Autumn Time!

The girls had a great time playing in the leaves this past week. They started chasing each other around with armfuls of leaves and were laughing at each other as they dumped it on their sisters head. I was enjoying watching them and got some cute pics of them just having a great time outside. We are sad that our days like this are limited. Winter can just skip us this year. We love to play outside!

Trick-Or-Treat!

Here are two of the cutest Garden Gnomes ever!!! They are ready for trick or treating! They had fun and thought it was cool that everyone had treats for them and it was so much fun to see them discover Halloween. They also liked getting their cheeks all rosie. They thought they were pretty cool! Cute girls!

Halloween Fun 2010!

Well Halloween time is here already and we have had so much fun! We carved a pumpkin which Mazie thinks to soo scarry! OOOOOO! They didn't want to touch the guts of the pumpkin. They had fun using the carving knives with Daddy. We had our Annual Walters Halloween Bash. Everyone was such good sports and dressed up and looked fabulous! We ate some great food! Kayleb cooked us some hamburgers and dogs and everyone brought something to share and it was great! We played minute-to -win-it games and they were lots of fun. Of course it rained on the day of our party so we played them in the garage. Not exactly what I wanted but it worked out good. Then we decorated some gingerbread haunted houses and they turned out cute. I didn't get any pics of the games because I was running them so I will post some pics when others share them with me. I was grateful for everyone helping and participating! Thanks everyone for another great Halloween party. Harry Potter (Tyler) and Dorothy (Katee) won the costume contest. Chad, Angie, Cole, and Addie won the minute to win it games! Thanks again everyone!Garden Gnomes is what we are if you couldn't tell. Thanks Denice for making the skirts and helping me with the rest. The Princess and the Frog. The Panton's Look Great! The Walters family look'in good!Joy Joy looked fantastic once again. Just when you think she can't out do herself. The Queen as Mazie would say.The Flintstones crew!I had to take a pic of the cupcakes that I made. I was pretty proud of the way they turned out!We decorated our haunted house for family night instead of at the party. The girls had fun getting messy and eating some candy. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Quick Update

This is just a quick update of all the happenings of the past few months. We have been busy around here. The girls have started going to a preschool/playgroup that some of us moms in the ward are doing. The girls love going to school and always have to wear their pack cack. They are just growing up so fast. They are really good when it is not my turn to teach. They do better without me and it frustrates me that they are little stinkers when it is at their house or when I am helping at someone else's house. It has been nice to have a break from them for a minute and go to the grocery store without them. Peaceful and dare I say almost enjoyable. Deer Camp this year was great weather and the girls had a riot with all of their cousins. Kayleb didn't get a deer, but had fun with his family and got a chance to ride the four-wheeler and relax. The dust was about 3inches of black powder in our camp and you will see by the pictures that baths were necessary every night. We have had a lot of firsts the past few months and have had lots of fun. I have posted a lot of pics because they are a great way to document what has been happening. The girls and I went to Thanksgiving Point and had a great time feeding the animals. Especially the ducks.

Oh boy we had the first flu bug hit my babies for the first time. They had never vomited until now. Poor things. Mazie got hit the worst, but they both took a few days to get back to their crazy selves. Just a couple of sicklies!

Grandma and Grandpa came over to help me do some freezer corn. They were great help and we were done in not time. Thanks for all your help. I think of you every time I get a bag out of the freezer.

We went to the State Fair with Chad, Angie, and kids and had so much fun looking at animals, riding rides, eating, and of course riding the ponies.

Miah is a pro rider and loved being such a big girl on her pony!

This was a first for Mazie. Mazie got on a pony for the first time and rode all by herself! She was scared until a few weeks before this day when she all of the sudden started riding her rocking horse and since has become quite the cowgirl. She calls herself "Jesse" when she is on her rocking horse and she will tell you she rode the pony all by herself. Such a big girl!

Here we are waiting for our turn on the ponies.

Cute kids!

Girls night out! The girls went to "The Lion King" @ the Capital Theatre and it was amazing. IT was so fun to spend the day with the girls and do something out of the ordinary.

For Family night the girls and I made cookies. They helped me mix them and then I let them spoon them on the cookie sheet. They had fun and it was fun to let them do something like that. They are too cute! Little Bakers!

First day of Preschool/Playgroup.

Great Grandma Great took the girls for a ride on her walker. They love to go for a ride and get a cookie from Grandma. They also love the Doodlie-Doos she sings to them. Love you Grandma!

What a filthy bunch of cuties!

Uni brow!

Miah got a ride on the wheeler with Daddy and loved it!

7 Years!

Wow! It is crazy to say that Kayleb and I have been married for seven years! Last weekend we celebrated by going to dinner and a movie by ourselves thanks to my parents! We went to the Cheesecake Factory. It was my choice and it was great. We rolled out of there and decided to hit a show before we called it a night. It was fun to just hang out with my husband since we don't see much of each other on a one on one basis. I love him so much and I am very grateful for the patience, love, and support that he always gives me. He works hard for our family and is a great dad too! I had fun this last weekend and look forward to many more years to come! Happy Anniversary Kayleb! I Love Ya!

Splash Park

Jenny and the boys invited us to go to the splash park with them. It was so much fun. The girls just followed Ryder around the whole time and loved playing in the freezing water. We camped out on the grass and they would run back and forth from the water to us and get snacks and had some lunch there too. It was lots of fun thanks to Jenny, Ryder, and Jax for inviting us! The three stooges!

Cute little stinker!

Lance and Breckon's Wedding

Next on the line-up for the summer was the much anticipated wedding of Lance and Breckon. It was a beautiful day in Salt Lake and everything turned out great! Breckon was a beautiful bride and Lance was well...okay he looked pretty good himself. We started the day at the SL Temple and then took some pics there..not me cuz I of course forgot my camera duh! Then we took a break before the luncheon at the Joseph Smith building and had a mini lunch before lunch. We were all starving and it was very hot outside and the kids were getting onery. Then we went up to the luncheon room and ate again of course and had a good time with family and friends. Then we dashed over to our hotel to check in and rest a little only there was not much resting because we only had an hour to get ready and back to the Joseph Smith building for pictures. So as soon as Kayleb got the bags to the room I started doing hair. Miah and Mazie were so good while I did their hair even though they were sooo tired. We were about a half an hour late for pics but considering what had to be accomplished in an hour we did good. The girls looked so cute! They just looked like little girls not babies and they had so much fun with Ryder and Jax. The reception was pretty and then we went back to the hotel and all crashed for the night. We are so excited for Breckon to be in our family and wish her the best of luck with being married to Lance!HaHa! Just kidding Lance we love you! Thanks to Jenny for the pics! I will get one of the bride and groom posted soon.Todd made an appearance and the kids loved him. His speech was very moving! We miss you Toddie!

These girls were the cutest ones there! Mazie refused to wear her flower but she didn't need it to look adorable. Don't let these cuties in purple fool you though. They were not very helpful for pictures. Especially Mazie! Oh well. We had a full, but great day!

Dusty Camping Fun!

This year instead our usual trip to Escalante we decided to go somewhere close so we went to Strawberry River. It was great weather and we got the best of both worlds. We got to camp with both sets of Grandparents which the girls just loved. We camped with Grandma and Grandpa Walters the first part of the week then Grandma and Grandpa Carlton came up along with Lane and Jenny and family for second part of the week. We had a lot of fun. We didn't get the campsite we wanted but it turned out good. If you measure fun by how dirty the girls got then we had loads of it! The girls did really good and loved being outside and playing in the trailer. The only thing they didn't like was naps and baths. We took the four wheeler and forgot the registration sticker so when we ran home for my cousin coming home from his mission and stopped home and grabbed it. It was very dusty and dry up there, but we had some good family time together! I will look forward to next year going to Escalante how I love that place and Kayleb not being able to get cell phone service!! Kayleb was getting lots of help between Buddy and the girls with putting on new lights on the trailer. We took a drive to Strawberry to throw some rocks and cool our feet.We took some truck rides looking for animals and the girls loved riding in Papa's truck.
My parents water cooler and cone cups had the kids lining up.I took the girls on some short rides around camp since we don't have helmets for them yet. They liked riding with Mommy. Just kick'in back!
